Nature, Love and Embodiment is a seven-day silent meditation retreat with Robyn Gibson and Louise Taylor January 2025 10th - 17th.
Held at the Dorje Ling Meditation retreat centre in Lorinna, Tasmania. The retreat will focus the themes and practices of insight and serenity to provide balance in the heart and mind, nurtured by the natural beauty of northern Tasmania.
The Buddhist teachings on cultivating embodied presence offer us tools for resting back into what’s already here: the body, its six senses, and awareness. Cultivating this presence can help us to realize the interconnectedness between ourselves and nature, and provide a reliable refuge for the heart and mind.
In this seven-day retreat, we will explore ways of attending to the senses, settling the mind, opening to what is surrounding us, and allowing ourselves to yield into the ever-present support of the earth under us. In support of this settling and opening, over the days we will weave our way between sitting, walking and lying-down meditation (instruction will be provided), gentle movement, group discussion, interviews, dharma talks by the teachers, and quiet time in nature.
